The money I paid for my ticket is back on my bank account. Does this mean that I have not bought a ticket?

I booked a ticket from Bad Bentheim to Warsaw. I paid 89,90 and it all seemed fine. Now, one week later, I see that I received that same amount of money back on my bank account. However, I did not receive any email or message that something went wrong.
Today, I booked a ticket back from Warsaw to Bad Bentheim. Later I realized it would have been smarter to book a retour ticket, but that's was too late. Now I am afraid that something will go wrong with this ticket as well.
What is going wrong?
