We are Canadians with reservation in my name only (party of 2). Do I need to register the name of my traveling partner?

The ticket info says The ticket is only valid for [my name] personally (and in some cases for accompanying persons) in conjunction with an official photo ID (e.g. ID card or passport) or a valid BahnCard."

My travelling partner's name is not listed anywhere on my reservation, is this okay? The ticket just says "2 adults"

Also, your FAQ says my ticket "must be shown with one of the following: A German ID card or passport, an ID card or passport valid for travel in Germany, an electronic resident permit issued by Germany, or your BahnCard." We are Canadians with a Canadian passport. I know this may sound like a silly question, but I assume this is not an issue and falls into the "ID card valid for travel in Germany" category?
