How long does it take to receive the new Bahncard?

I am currently using a BahnCard 50 which is valid until the 20 of October. On the 22nd of September I have received the invoice for my new Bahncard 50 (Rechnung zu ihrer Bahncard). On the DB website it says the new BahnCards are sent around 3 weeks before the "old" ones become invalid. So this means that I should have received the new card at the end of September- the beginning of October. Is almost 3 weeks later, and I still haven't received anything. Under the Bestellstatus it says "in Bearbeitung" but it's been like this for weeks.

Is this normal to take this long?

I got my new Bahncard ca. one week before the old one expired.
Otherwise you should ask the Bahncard Service by telephone 0180 6 34 00 35.
You can a also write them an email to bahncard-service@bahn.de .
