Yes you can buy the ticket at the station before the trip in machines or in the personal sale in the "ReiseZentrum" in bigger cities.
but for the price it depends. If it is a "Sparpreis" (Saver fare) then the price might and probably will change. It will be most likely more expensive. But the Sparpreis might rise on the internet too. And there might be no more saver fare tickets available on the day of travel.
But the "Flexpreis" (flexible fare) is always the same - on the Internet and at the Station (in machines and in the ReiseZentrum).
If you want to buy regional tickets (e.g. Baden-Würrtemberg-TIcket) then it's the same price online and in the machines, but in the Reisezentrum you pay 2 € more because of the personal consultation (service)
